Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Atlassian administrator to join our team.

  • As an Atlassian administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of Atlassian Cloud tools, including JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo and StatusPage.
  • Configure and maintain the Atlassian tools to meet the needs of the business and follow established standards.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and internal teams to integrate Atlassian tools with other systems.
  • Manage permissions and access control via Atlassian Access for corresponding tools and projects.
  • Develop, proof of concept, and maintain custom marketplace plugins, workflows, and reports as needed.
  • Create training curriculums for various Atlassian users and provide trainings as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Atlassian tools and technologies.
  • Promote use of Global and Project JIRA Automation across existing projects to optimize operational processes and save FTE time.
  • Develop best practices for administering Jira as effectively as possible over the long term.
  • Other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of administering Atlassian Cloud tools in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language) and use it for creating Dashboards, Reports, and subscriptions.
  • Ability to lead as a People manager.
  • Excellent understanding of JIRA workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens schemes, etc.
  • Ability to work in multi-vendor environments supporting large numbers of users.
  • Experience working with DevOps and Agile processes and transform them into JIRA workflows.
  • Experience integrating DevOps tools, specifically pipeline tools, Gitlab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, UCD with JIRA.
  • Certified in ACP-120 Jira Administration for Cloud, additional JIRA certifications are a plus.
