Lead Compliance Specialist

Job Description:

This position involves overseeing compliance for all provisions of the SEBI Act, AIF Regulations, FEMA, and IFSC regulations and circulars. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Gift City operations and ensuring day-to-day compliance.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with various teams to ensure timely regulatory reporting and compliance, managing investor queries related to compliance, and flagging potential issues that may impact operational risk management.

  • Manage and implement efficient controls for reconciliations, risk, and compliance management.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with incubators, accelerators, angel networks, micro VC, etc., running outreach programs, meeting, evaluating, coaching, mentoring, and developing founders and supporting startups' ecosystems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related activities in the securities market or financial products, including portfolio manager, broker dealer, investment advisor, wealth manager, research analyst, or fund management.
  • Knowledge of finance/accounting is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint.
