Category Manager Job Description

This is a leadership role within our organization, overseeing the strategic direction and growth of specific product categories.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing category strategies to drive business growth, managing vendor relationships, and analyzing market trends to inform purchasing decisions.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in category management, brand partnerships, or business development, with a proven track record in vendor negotiations and assortment planning.

Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required.

Requirements:
  • 5–8 years in category management, brand partnerships, or business development (lifestyle, fashion, accessories, or e-commerce preferred).
  • Proven track record in vendor negotiations, assortment planning, and sales forecasting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with analytical skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Mixpanel preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation & relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and stakeholders.

This position requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
