CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
A High School Diploma or GED; 1 year experience in housekeeping or a related field is required.
OR
A 2-year degree from an accredited institution in Hospitality Management or Business Administration; no work experience needed.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversight of daily housekeeping activities
Maintenance of lost and found procedures
Inventory management of stock levels
Effective communication with front desk staff regarding room status
Collaboration with engineering for guest room maintenance needs
Implementation of loss prevention policies
Supervision of housekeeping employees in absence of Director of Services or Housekeeping Manager
Fostering a positive work environment
Ensuring exceptional customer service
Handling guest complaints efficiently
Participation in review of comment cards and guest satisfaction results with team members
Serving as a model for excellent guest relations
Other responsibilities include:
- Managing linen inventory and ordering supplies when necessary
- Assisting in supervision of effective inspection programs for all guestrooms and public spaces
To be successful in this position, you must possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding guest experiences and ensuring the success of our hotel.
