Job Role

The company seeks a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support and assistance to users across various departments.

  • System Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems on devices to ensure seamless user experience and optimal system performance.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Assemble, upgrade, and repair computer hardware to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Software Installation: Install, configure, back up, and troubleshoot standard applications to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Network Infrastructure: Install and troubleshoot network printers, configure VPNs and firewalls to maintain a secure network environment.
  • Data Security: Manage BitLocker encryption, antivirus updates, and virus protection to safeguard sensitive data and prevent security breaches.
  • User Account Management: Create user accounts, reset passwords, update group policies, and control access to ensure efficient management of user privileges.
  • Remote Assistance: Provide remote assistance for software and system-related issues to users, ensuring minimal disruption to their work.
  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Coordinate with vendors for hardware issues and maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets.
