About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Head of Government Sales to lead our sales efforts in the government sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic relationships with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities in the government sector, focusing on large enterprises and public sector undertakings.
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to drive new client acquisition through various channels.
  • Create compelling pitches and proposals, including requirements gathering, to convert leads into clients.
  • Conduct introductory calls and follow-up with clients to build strong relationships.
  • Responsible for revenue generation from government sales vertical.
  • Initiate and cultivate high-level client relationships with key decision-makers to build trusted partnerships.
  • Maintain a watching brief on developments within customers' organizations that may affect future business.
  • Relationship management with existing and potential clients.
  • Networking to gain potential leads.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in IT sales, particularly in government accounts.
  • Possession of deep understanding of sales principles and practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, and a good team player with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud, data center, SI, web hosting, and related technologies.
