About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced JDE Finance Consultant to join our team at Alignity Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting various JDE Finance modules, collaborating with clients on business process enhancements, and driving successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and support JDE Finance applications, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets, in a multicurrency environment.
  • Ensure smooth transitions and support for finance applications post-implementation.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Automatic Accounting Instructions (AAIs) and Distribution & Manufacturing AAIs (DMAAIs), ensuring accurate financial processing.
  • Apply knowledge of product costing and manufacturing accounting as needed.
  • Understand and manage integration processes with payables and receivables to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement effective integration solutions.
  • Independently handle data conversions and design interfaces between JDE Finance applications and other systems.
  • Lead key design and build activities, including gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, and developing as-is and to-be business process designs.
  • Drive design workshops, conference room pilots (CRPs), and oversee functional design, configuration, and testing activities.
  • Collaborate with clients to enhance their business processes, providing expert guidance and recommendations based on best practices.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
  • Experience leading entire workstreams, providing direction and oversight to team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Facilitate project meetings and status updates to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Possess process expertise in at least one industry sector, contributing to the overall success of the project by leveraging industry-specific knowledge.
Requirements
  • 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in JDE Finance, with a strong focus on implementation and support projects.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience implementing JDE Finance application suites, including AP, AR, GL, and FA, in multicurrency environments.
  • Strong knowledge of AAIs and DMAAIs; familiarity with product costing and manufacturing accounting is a plus.
  • Experience in the integration process with payables and receivables.
  • Proven ability to work independently on data conversions and interface design.
  • Demonstrated experience in key design and build activities, such as requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and process design.
  • Experience working with North American clients is advantageous.
  • Exposure to on-site/offshore models is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Experience leading workstreams is a plus.
