Design and Engineering Head (Vacuum Furnace)

This is a high-level engineering leadership position that oversees the design, development, and implementation of vacuum furnace projects.

The Design and Engineering Head will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams to deliver complex technical solutions that meet customer specifications and sales offers.

  • Lead the design process from conceptualization to production, ensuring that designs are innovative, cost-effective, and meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to improve product performance, efficiency, and quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage and mentor engineers and technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Design Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in vacuum furnace design, development, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including low, high, and ultra-high vacuum systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
  • Hands-on experience with standard design practices and manufacturing techniques.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
