About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled finance leader to oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial management.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field and be able to adapt to uncertainty while being a generalist.

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing SaaS company and build the finance function from scratch. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee cash management, monitoring cash flow and optimizing working capital.
  • Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including developing investor presentations and financial projections.
  • Drive operational efficiency by monitoring costing activities and identifying saving initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience building the finance function from 0-1 for a scaling SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Past experience working in SaaS accounting is an added plus.
