ServiceNow Developer Role

The ServiceNow Developer role is an exciting opportunity to work with a cutting-edge platform and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in the ServiceNow ecosystem. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customizations and integrations using ServiceNow's robust APIs and scripting capabilities.

  • Developing business rules, script includes, UI policies, client scripts, and flow designer components to automate workflows and improve user experience.
  • Configuring and customizing ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of the development process and best practices within the team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with at least 2-3 implementations in Security Operations (SecOps).
  • Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) module configuration and customization.
  • Familiarity with best practices in IT security, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures.
  • Experience integrating third-party security data sources and tools into ServiceNow.
  • Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide) and proficiency in developing Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification for SIR and/or VR modules.
  • Experience supporting large-scale ServiceNow environments (10,000+ users).
  • Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules (e.g., GRC, ITSM, App Engine).
  • Experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
Competencies:
  • Advanced configuration and customization of SecOps (SIR & VR) modules.
  • Solution design translating business requirements into secure workflows.
