Finance Credit Auditor

We are seeking a Finance Credit Auditor to join our team. As a Finance Credit Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our credit processes and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Conduct thorough credit audits of Wholesale Banking segment and SMEs, covering both pre and post sanction, disbursement and monitoring process.
    • Lead or participate in all business credit audits and lead a team of 2-4 auditors.
    • Timely commence and close audits, including documentation of working papers.
    • Prepare and submit audit reports within stipulated time frames.
    • Ensure timely submissions of RBI data, Tranche III and any other regulatory requirements.
    • Emphasize quality assurance, correctness, consistency of data furnished, policies, internal guidelines, process, practices and people, revenue assurance and risk coverage.
    • Carry out special assignments such as review of processes, thematic audits, checklists and special audits.
    • Coordinate with concurrent auditors for effective monitoring and ensure the quality of concurrent audit reports.
    • Examine and provide comfort to Team Lead Audit on all developments in credit-related areas, providing assurance on regulatory and control requirements of the bank.
    • Devise audit checklists for use by internal/concurrent auditors and test processes/procedures to foresee pitfalls and bottlenecks, ensuring they are audited/resolved.
    • Provide suggestions for improvement to existing processes/systems to line management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of credit risk management and financial regulations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

• Strong knowledge of financial systems and processes.
