Job Description:

The role of a Payroll Trainee is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing. This involves thoroughly reviewing timesheets, verifying hours worked, leave taken, and overtime to guarantee compliance with internal policies and client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities include managing the payroll department's mailbox, responding to queries, organizing incoming timesheets and documents, and maintaining a clean communication flow. The successful candidate will also be responsible for double-checking data entries for inconsistencies or errors, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that all payroll data is accurate before processing.

They must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data validation, is essential. Familiarity with payroll software or ERP systems is an advantage.
