Job Title: Equity Dealer Specialist

The primary role of the Equity Dealer is to execute equity trades on behalf of a prominent life insurance company. The individual will be responsible for timely closure of all deals in the system and closely monitoring market developments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate market trends and interact with brokers, analysts, and dealers to provide accurate information to the investment team.
  • Closure of all equity trades in the system in a timely manner.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal and external guidelines and regulations.
  • Identify potential trading strategies and offer investment ideas.
  • Support the Fund Manager and Head of Investments in managing the Investment portfolio to achieve departmental KPIs.
  • Assist the Investment team in day-to-day activities.
  • Support the Fund Manager in MIS and other reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) or Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Experience and Abilities:

2-3 years of experience in the Indian equity market.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the Indian equity market.
  • Ability to comprehend market developments and possess strong market intelligence.
  • Good understanding of technical analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of portfolio construction and review.
  • Understanding of risk management in investing.
  • Sound Excel and PPT skills.
