Eye Care Specialist Opportunity

Acquarius Capstorm Limited is hiring experienced eye care professionals to join one of Germany's most respected optical retail chains.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and utilizing automated equipment to guide customers to optimal eyewear solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming customers and preparing them for eye testing using bespoke in-store optical equipment (testing performed automatically).
  • Reviewing results and recommending suitable lenses based on customer needs.
  • Informing customers about current promotions, offers, and product options.
  • Upselling additional products and services to enhance customers' eyewear experience.
  • Overseeing store operations and maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
  • Ensuring accurate customer and sales records are maintained in compliance with German retail and healthcare requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Optometry from a H+ listed university in the German Anabin database.
  • Degree must be rated as entspricht or gleichwertig (comparable/equivalent) in Anabin OR obtain a ZAB Statement of Comparability.
  • 2–3 years of experience in optometry, preferably with retail or store management exposure.
  • Willingness to complete German language training to B2 level before starting work.
