Job Overview
">This role involves managing backup infrastructure for major international markets. The backup infrastructure covers servers, databases, and NAS services.
The position requires collaboration with business application teams, regional IT teams, and global support teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Liaising with teams to resolve issues and complete tasks
- Delivering projects within strict timelines
- Maintaining high availability environments
- Contributing to performance preservation and proactive improvements
Technical Requirements:
">- High skills in Veritas NetBackup on Linux environments (GUI and CLI setup, management, and troubleshooting)
- Skills in EMC Data Domain and OST interface with NetBackup
- Experience working in equivalent positions for at least 10 years
- Team collaboration and customer service-oriented skills
Desirable Skills:
">- Definition of backup architecture using Veritas NetBackup, DataDomain, and Quantum i6k
- Scripting and automation using Shell, Bash, Python, and Ansible
Qualifications:
">- High learning capacity and adaptability to new technologies
- Proactive approach to incident remediation and plan actions
