Job Title: Data Protection Specialist

Job Description:

As a Data Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with global data privacy regulations. This involves monitoring and informing about the latest developments in data protection laws and technologies.

  • Develop and strengthen the global data protection program by providing input and feedback related to local data protection laws.
  • Implement and maintain global data protection policies and procedures locally.
  • Collaborate with legal, IT, and business teams to integrate data protection controls into systems and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Asian data protection laws and regulations, including PIPL, DPDPA, PDPA, and others. A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, Business, or a related field is required, along with 2-5 years of experience in data protection or a related role.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
