Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Protection and Privacy Specialist to join our team. This senior-level role involves evaluating the current state of Personal Data Protection, developing a data management and privacy strategy, and ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data classification, risk assessment, risk register, data confidentiality, data integrity, and data availability.

Key responsibilities include identifying third-party privacy risks, conducting vendor privacy risk assessments, and providing guidance on managing third-party cookies and marketing/preference consent.

We require the successful candidate to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the current state of Personal Data Protection
  • Develop a data management and privacy strategy
  • Ensure compliance with global standards and best practices
  • Identify third-party privacy risks
  • Conduct vendor privacy risk assessments
  • Provide guidance on managing third-party cookies and marketing/preference consent

Requirements:

  • 6-12 years of experience in data protection and privacy
  • Expertise in data classification, risk assessment, risk register, data confidentiality, data integrity, and data availability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Familiarity with KSA PDPL, GDPR, and other GCC privacy laws
