E-commerce Logistics Specialist

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing orders, validating demand, and ensuring timely issue resolution. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and negotiation abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Management: Own the servicing of orders for regional sales teams in a defined customer service framework to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Demand Validation: Validate demand over the horizon, assign prioritization to demand/orders/customers based on available data.
  • Plan Achievement: Ensure that plans are achieved by validating demand with purchase orders, letters of credit, regulatory clearances, artwork details, and other customer-specific requirements.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze order status in systems and gather information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules.
  • Risk Mitigation: Highlight potential issues affecting timelines and take end-to-end ownership of assigned orders.
  • Documentation: Drive documentation related to shipments with cross-functional teams and mitigate risks/delays to avoid demurrage/penalties.
  • Collaboration: Attend meetings to obtain data and information on open orders and their status updates.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve issues such as artwork approval, batch size, and minimum order quantity with sales teams.
  • Process Improvement: Arrange cross-functional meetings to resolve bottleneck-related issues and ensure on-time-in-full delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide detailed analysis to stakeholders and identify key stakeholders for resolving outstanding issues.

Supply Chain Technology and Automation:

  • IT Implementation: Identify opportunities for implementing IT & automation in order management processes to improve supply chain visibility.
  • Rollout Cycle: Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for IT & technology automations within SCM jointly with IT teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI).
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Good understanding and experience of supply chain essentials, preferably in the pharma industry.
  • Innovation: Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Effective communication and negotiation skills; decision-making and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Time Management and Customer Service Skills: Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize tasks dynamically, and meet tight deadlines; excellent time management and customer service skills.
