Supply Chain Operations Assistant

The position of Supply Chain Operations Assistant is designed to provide support in the supply chain department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support reconciliation of Warehouse and Logistics invoices by ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
  • Update and maintain the monthly cost tracker to ensure transparency and accountability within the team.
  • Compile ageing and shelf-life reports for inventory monitoring, enabling data-driven decisions.
  • Analyse and assist in preparing action plans for SLOB (Slow Moving & Obsolete) articles to optimise inventory levels.
  • Compile and share the weekly fill rate report, providing insights into sales performance.
  • Review and track planning vs. actual performance (orders as per ROP, DOI analysis, etc.) to identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex supply chain challenges.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets with knowledge of Pivot, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with good organisational ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Interest in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Education:

  • Pursuing Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or related field to gain a solid foundation in supply chain management principles.
