Human Resources Manager Job Summary

This role oversees and supports all human resource functions within an organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and have a strong understanding of both strategic and day-to-day HR operations.

The Human Resources Manager plays a vital part in maintaining a positive work environment, ensuring compliance, and aligning HR initiatives with business goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, recruitment and onboarding
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Managing employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Leading performance management efforts and employee development plans
  • Leading benefit administration and open enrollment
  • Maintaining accurate employee records (HRIS, personnel files, etc.)
  • Tracking and analyzing HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, etc.)
  • Overseeing training and development of employees
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7-10 years of HR management experience
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
