SAP HCM Payroll Consultant

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll with at least 2 full-cycle implementations under their belt. Strong expertise in payroll schemas, rules, infotypes, and RT/TCRT tables is essential. Hands-on experience in integration with SAP FI, Time Management, and external payroll systems is also required.

A key aspect of this role is collaborating with Time Management and PA/OM teams to ensure smooth upstream data flow. The consultant must be able to perform testing, validation, and payroll reconciliation across systems. Additionally, they should be skilled in creating and maintaining documentation: functional specs, test cases, SOPs, and payroll calendars.

  • Configure and support SAP Payroll (PY) including schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll results.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes including payroll run, simulation, posting to finance, and year-end activities.
  • Integrate payroll with SAP FI, SAP Time Management, and third-party tools.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in SAP HCM Payroll.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models is preferred.
  • Knowledge of PA, OM, and Benefits modules is a plus.
