Learning Management System Operations Lead Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) Operations Lead to oversee the management of our learning platform and lead a team of administrators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide a team of 2–3 LMS administrators, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and managing performance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Plan and track LMS-related projects, activities, and milestones, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality learning programs that meet business objectives.
  • Oversee user account management, course enrollments, and content updates, configuring LMS features to maintain optimal system functionality and user experience.
  • Partner with Learning and Development teams, clients, vendors, and IT for smooth operations, aligning LMS workflows with evolving business needs and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical problems and escalations, ensuring fast and effective resolution for users and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience managing an LMS team or project, with a strong focus on strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong technical proficiency with LMS platforms and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
