Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual targets in line with organizational objectives.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve their individual targets by providing guidance on sales strategies, customer visits and aligning them with organizational goals.
  • Supervise and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans to achieve targets.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify business opportunities, assess customer needs and gain insights into competitor activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, key business leaders and key decision makers, acting as a bridge between the organization and customers.
  • Promote a high level of product knowledge for training the sales team and promoting products through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Retain top talent by motivating, grooming and coaching the sales team as required.
  • Promptly resolve customer concerns, inputs and feedback with concerned departments.
  • Effectively manage the allocated budget to achieve sales targets.
  • Meticulously manage inventory to minimize expiries, optimize stock-to-sales ratio, accurately forecast stock and maintain adequate inventory at distributor and hospital levels.
  • Closely coordinate with business partners (distributors) on sales growth, forecasting, receivables and customer satisfaction.
  • Collect receivables in accordance with the organization's credit policy.
  • Ensure effective implementation of marketing activities by the sales team in the market.
  • Conduct regular review meetings to monitor performance in line with Annual Operating Plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product management, to achieve unified efforts towards organizational goals.
  • Adhere to 100% compliance with the code of conduct and organizational policies.

Qualification and Experience:



  • Science Graduate or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales of Medical Devices, with preference given to candidates with sufficient experience in interventional cardiology/Cardiac Rhythm devices.
  • 5+ years of experience in team management.
  • Established relationships with cardiologists.

Location: Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin and Chennai.
