UI/UX Design Lead Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Design Lead to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading creative sessions, mentoring designers, and fostering a learning environment that promotes growth and development.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for managing a team of designers, creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, and staying up-to-date with the latest design trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, leading creative sessions and fostering a learning environment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on design goals and objectives.
  • Create user-centered designs through research, competitor analysis, and understanding of technical constraints and opportunities.
  • Rapidly develop user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, competitor products, and industry standards.
  • Perform regular audits and user tests to improve and optimize existing designs.
  • Transform complex processes into intuitive, simple, and elegant designs that enhance usability and overall user experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive user-interface patterns and specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented to the highest standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of experience in UI/UX design, specifically in the B2C sector.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, back-end development logic, and SEO principles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in prototyping, wireframing, visual design, and user research.
  • Experience in B2C design projects is a must.
