Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in managing budgets, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and cash forecasting
  • Manage budgeting processes and support cross-functional departmental budget planning
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and local tax regulations
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C etc)
  • Handle GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling of income tax returns
  • Manage statutory, Tax audits, assessments and ensure to respond within the time limit.
  • Strong knowledge of transfer pricing compliance and documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling of forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (e.g, MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC etc)
  • Ensure timely and accurate filling with RBI (e.g, FLA return, FC-TRS etc)
  • Maintain documentation and records for all FEMA-related transactions
  • Coordinate both internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 10–15 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g. NetSuite, Tally etc).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
