Full Stack Developer Position

About the Role:
  • This Full Stack Developer position involves developing and optimizing Android-native components using Java/Kotlin.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with our Flutter developer to integrate Android modules into cross-platform builds.
  • Surety of data handling, storage, and permissions in compliance with HIPAA is crucial for this role.
  • This position requires support for responsive and accessible UI integration for mobile and web interfaces.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Python FastAPI and Java.
  • Implementation of RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless data flow between devices, apps, and servers is also essential.
  • Applying Java frameworks such as Spring Boot where applicable for service development is required.
  • Ongoing optimization of backend services for high-volume, low-latency medical data processing is necessary.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is expected.
  • The successful candidate must design efficient schemas and implement secure data access patterns.
  • Database architecture should support scalability, redundancy, and compliance.
  • Deploying and managing applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.) is necessary.
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
  • Containerization using Docker for reproducible environments is required.
  • Monitoring and optimizing cloud resource usage for cost efficiency is essential.
  • The successful candidate should adhere to ISO 13485 and HIPAA standards for medical software development.
  • Participating in code reviews, unit testing, and automated quality checks is necessary.
  • Maintaining proper documentation as per medical device software lifecycle requirements is required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in full-stack development with proven backend and Android expertise.
  • Proficiency in Java for Android and backend services is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI) is required.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and deployment pipelines is necessary.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases is required.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and ISO 13485 guidelines is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD workflows is expected.
  • The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively is necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and attention to detail are required.
