Job DescriptionThis is an independent entrepreneurial role where the candidate will be responsible for managing a small business venture of 40-75 million rupees. The primary focus will be on providing unsecured business loans to clients, with a special emphasis on the self-employed category.
The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the local market and a proven track record of success in that geography. Key responsibilities include understanding client businesses and offering relevant financial solutions, such as business loans and overdraft facilities.
Additionally, this position requires strong collaboration with distributors, telemarketing teams, and branch banking teams to expand customer base. It also involves cross-selling various products like current accounts, savings accounts, life insurance, and general insurance.
Maintenance of relationships with key decision-makers (CFOs/promoters) within target segments and fostering trust and confidence with clients are critical aspects of this role.
Staying competitive through market analysis, enhancing Kotak's presence in the target market, and improving operational efficiency by monitoring account sources and optimizing existing loans are essential duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduate or MBA degree from a reputable institution.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the local market, preferably with a background in credit and sales.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to clients.
- Familiarity with sales strategies and techniques.
