We are seeking a detail-oriented HCC Coder to join our healthcare team in India.

Responsibilities
  • Review medical records for accurate diagnoses and procedures coding.
  • Apply ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines for precise code assignment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance with coding regulations and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving coding practices and regulations.
  • Participate in quality assurance and audits to enhance coding accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-5 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in HCC coding.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems.
  • Certification in medical coding is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
