We are seeking a skilled HCC Coder to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-10 years of experience in coding, specifically focusing on Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC). You will be responsible for reviewing medical records, ensuring accurate coding, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures according to HCC guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and regulations, including CMS and HIPAA requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding.
- Conduct audits and provide feedback to improve coding accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines and regulations related to HCC coding.

Skills and Qualifications

- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding and HCC methodologies.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and coding software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in coding practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals and provide feedback.
