Financial Operations Manager Job Description

This is a critical role in the finance team, responsible for managing and analyzing financial records to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Perform general accounting activities, record financial transactions, and conduct investigations and reconciliations as necessary.
  • Execute accounting analyses and reports to support finance and business leaders.
  • Produce reports, statements of accounts, reconciliations, and statements of sourcing.
  • Process daily transactions related to fixed assets, including acquisitions, retirements, and transfers.
  • Oversee monthly closing of CAPEX accounts, manage CAPEX control and approval process, and ensure proper accounting procedures for fixed asset acquisition, transfer, impairment, write-off, and disposal.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in accounting, finance, or commerce, and 4-8 years' experience in SAP.

Accounting Expertise: Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
