Product Management Role

Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Product Owner to join our team. As the day-to-day liaison between product management and engineering teams, you will be responsible for the execution of our product roadmap.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the product backlog for assigned engineering teams by creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria based on the product roadmap and business value.
  2. Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  3. Serving as the primary point of contact for development team questions, providing clarification and a deeper understanding of user stories and business requirements.
  4. Crafting clear, concise, and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and dependencies to ensure engineers can build solutions with minimal ambiguity.
  5. Reviewing and accepting completed work, ensuring it meets the definition of done and original requirements before release to QA or production.
  6. Fostering effective communication between engineering, UX/UI, and the broader product team to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience working directly with an Agile development team and managing a product backlog.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to translate complex product requirements into actionable user stories.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
