Job Description

The MEP Engineer is responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in building projects. The role involves planning, coordination and execution to ensure systems meet project requirements, comply with building codes and are delivered within schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing system designs that meet project specifications and regulatory standards
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to execute project plans
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and industry standards

Requirements

To be successful as an MEP Engineer, you will require:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, fire protection and plumbing systems
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability practices
  • Codes and Standards:
  • Knowledge of local building codes, ASHRAE standards, NEC (National Electrical Code) and other relevant standards
