Job Title: Technical Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist to join our team in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take on a senior technical specialist position. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to the product owner and development team throughout the product lifecycle. Your primary goal will be to ensure the successful delivery of projects, products, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage product roadmaps through collaboration with stakeholders and prioritization of short-term deliverables.
  • Manage scope, balance trade-offs, define goals, set priorities, and oversee a backlog of features from story to acceptance throughout the Agile software development lifecycle.
  • Keep stakeholders and cross-functional teams informed on product status and lead product release plans, setting expectations for new functionalities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and product owners on detailed and complex requirements with a solid technical understanding.
  • Provide active leadership in mitigating impediments, ensuring governance for change management, leading adjustments to the plan, and managing dependencies to facilitate successful completion of Release Sprint Goals.


Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Owner, or related roles is also required. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of software development, specifically in areas like cloud-based infrastructure and data management technologies, API, and back-end services, AI, or analytics. Familiarity with Product Management tools such as Aha, Azure DevOps, Jira is also beneficial.

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a high degree of analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and being well-organized are also essential. Experience with Agile practices and principles is necessary, and familiarity with working on PaaS or SaaS products is preferred.
