Leadership Role for Technical Visionaries

Pine Labs is looking for a skilled Engineering Manager with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving multiple projects simultaneously, building and managing diverse teams of engineers, and formulating strategies to meet project goals.

  • Project Management
    • Oversee the delivery of products and projects for the team.
    • Collaborate with other managers on product roadmaps and provide input on design, modeling, and architectural decisions.
    • Develop project estimates and drive operations to implement high-quality solutions and technology upgrades.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead teams in developing new products, solutions, and processes.
    • Drive efficiency and productivity to produce high-quality output.
    • Create designs that improve flexibility, functionality, and usability of system components.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Define NFRs and build a system that meets NFR requirements.
    • Perform code reviews.
    • Oversee project logistics and resource allocation.
  • Code Quality
    • Use tools and techniques to enhance quality of code and design.
    • Suggest best design and implementation methodology.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration
    • Mentor team members and prepare them for future roles.
    • Collaborate with other team leaders and departments.

Requirements

Experience and Portfolio:

A Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering is required.

7-15 years of total experience in delivery/development/team management.

Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with EVM, Android-related technology.

Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with frontend technologies like EMV knowledge, Android POS development experience.

Good understanding of commonly used databases like SQL, NoSQL.

Skills and Efficiency:

Personnel and project management skills are essential.

Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes.

Organizational, planning, and documentation skills are necessary.

Proficiency in explaining complex information to non-technical management personnel and stakeholders.

Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.

Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools is a plus.

Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolutions.

Communication and Ownership:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
