Job Responsibilities
  • Lead vehicle NVH development teams throughout the entire development cycle.
  • Guide and track vehicle benchmarking initiatives and set robust targets for multiple programmes.
  • Meticulously review and monitor test plans, coordinate NVH activities during physical prototype stages via cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Coach the team to ensure smooth implementation of NVH suggestions while balancing weight and cost constraints.
  • Deliver vehicle and system-level NVH performance targets across multiple domains.
  • Meet NVH targets for PT NVH, road noise, and wind noise.
  • Proactively track and plan NVH risks, deploy effective solutions to secure NVH deliverables on schedule.
  • Resource development and management, anticipating current and future NVH technology needs and capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Between 14 to 18 years of experience in vehicle NVH development, demonstrating deep understanding of NVH requirements and solutions across various vehicle architectures.
  • Proven expertise in applying vehicle NVH development tools and methodologies to diagnose complex NVH issues.
  • Grounded knowledge in vehicle NVH simulation techniques to predict and improve NVH performance early in the development cycle.
  • Proficiency with advanced NVH analysis tools, including test laboratories and sophisticated techniques such as ASQ, PCA, TPA, and Sound Power measurements.
  • Familiarity with powertrain, driveline, chassis, suspension, sound packaging, and mounting systems, applying refinement expertise throughout development phases.
