Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned technology professional to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our e-commerce platform. As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business needs.

• Design and develop robust e-commerce solutions on Oracle Commerce Cloud, customizing and extending out-of-the-box functionality as needed.
• Utilize Java, JavaScript, and OCC APIs to create customized widgets, integrations, and business logic.
• Ensure seamless integration between Oracle Commerce Cloud and third-party systems, including payment gateways and CRM systems.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and unit tests to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Participate in project planning sessions, providing accurate estimations for development tasks.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, implementing optimizations for a fast user experience.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working as a software developer.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) development.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language, including object-oriented principles.
• Solid expertise in JavaScript and front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• Proven experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) platform, including deep understanding of its architecture and data model.
• Hands-on experience in customizing and extending OCC functionality using OCC Web Services and OCC REST APIs.
• Experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud administration, including deployment processes and log analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with version control systems and Agile development methodologies.

• Requirements Analysis and Technical Specification: Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Oracle Commerce Cloud Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement robust e-commerce solutions on Oracle Commerce Cloud platform.
• Customization and Extension of OCC: Utilize Java, JavaScript, and OCC APIs to customize and extend the functionality of Oracle Commerce Cloud platform.
• Integration with Third-Party Systems: Design, develop, and maintain seamless integrations between Oracle Commerce Cloud and various third-party systems.
• Code Quality Assurance: Perform thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Oracle Commerce Cloud Platform Management: Stay up to date with the latest Oracle Commerce Cloud updates, patches, and new features released by Oracle.
• Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers and other team members.
• Project Participation and Contribution: Actively participate in project planning sessions, provide accurate estimations for development tasks, and contribute to the prioritization of features and bug fixes.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks within the Oracle Commerce Cloud implementation.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for developed solutions.
