Procurement Lead Job Description

This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to drive cost optimization and business growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement end-to-end procurement operations, including vendor selection, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement requirements and align them with business goals.
Requirements:
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record of cost optimization and successful negotiations.
  • Experience in ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
