The role of a Supply Chain Strategist is to develop and implement global procurement strategies that achieve cost savings and process efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Global Procurement Strategies: Create comprehensive plans for sourcing, evaluating, and developing suppliers worldwide to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable supply.
  • Negotiate Complex Contracts: Engage in negotiation with international and domestic vendors to secure favorable pricing, delivery terms, and contract conditions.
  • Build Strong Supplier Partnerships: Foster collaborative relationships with suppliers through regular communication, performance reviews, and mutual goal alignment.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Operations, Finance, Logistics, and senior leadership to align purchasing strategies with business objectives and drive overall success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of progressive procurement/purchasing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with global suppliers, and ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
