Job Title: Supply Chain Strategist

The role of Supply Chain Strategist revolves around formulating and implementing strategies to optimize Supply Chain operations. This includes analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough analyses of current Supply Chain processes and procedures.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving.
  • Developing business cases using data analysis, presenting them to senior management for approval.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of Project Charters, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Creating and circulating Monthly MIS reports on project progress, highlighting challenges, savings achieved, and insights provided.
  • Proactively addressing roadblocks and facilitating the implementation of short-listed projects.
  • Implementing strategies to optimize vendor risk management processes and streamline workflows.
  • Establishing quality assurance measures for vendor risk assessments, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Collaborating with departments to integrate operational excellence principles into the vendor risk management lifecycle.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • BE in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering + MBA or relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of project management, business case development, and data analysis.
  • Experience with Supply Chain tools, MIS development, and vendor risk management.
  • Expertise in analyzing complex data sets and presenting actionable insights.
  • Competency in analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
