Supply Chain Optimization Lead

The ideal candidate for this role will be a skilled professional with expertise in supply chain management, including Discrete Event Simulation, Truck Loading Optimization, Yard or Door Planning, Warehouse Management, Route Optimization, and Order Aggregation/Disaggregation.

  • This leader will define and prioritize the product backlog for AI applications in supply chain management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  • They will develop and manage product roadmaps and timelines focused on AI-driven solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • A strong understanding of supply chain management principles is essential, along with specialized knowledge in key areas such as predictive analytics and machine learning.
  • Responsibilities also include working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI solutions.
  • Elicitation and documentation of business requirements will ensure AI solutions address key supply chain challenges and deliver measurable value.
  • The successful candidate will define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of AI-driven supply chain solutions, promoting continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in supply chain management, specifically in Discrete Event Simulation, Truck Loading Optimization, Yard or Door Planning, Warehouse Management, Route Optimization, and Order Aggregation/Disaggregation.
  • Strong background in product ownership or functional consulting, with experience in defining, developing, and delivering AI products that enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, and supply chain operations professionals.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks, facilitating sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and backlog grooming to ensure timely delivery of AI products.
