Job Overview
The RISQ/RMA/HPC team is responsible for providing Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) management services.
Main Responsibilities
- Research and analyze financial data to prepare high-quality analysis addressing client's credit risk and transaction risk.
- Perform risk assessment, including conducting due diligence on the client when required.
- Effectively challenge the credit rating and credit limits proposed by first-line defense.
- Monitor risk exposures across a range of metrics and indicators, and counterparty creditworthiness.
- Raise alerts as necessary, to the business, first-line defense, and 2nd line of defense management.
- Review or propose risk mitigation strategies when deemed necessary.
- Present recommendations for risk limits, one-off transactions, and credit ratings to risk officers with delegations.
- Coordinate credit requests, liaise with Business Lines, Legal staffs, Global advisory divisions, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to transversal analysis and project initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of overall credit analysis experience preferably in Financial Institution space.
- CA degree /MBA (in Finance) from a reputed institution.
- Additional certification like Financial Risk Management (FRM) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) would be a plus.
