Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Risk Management Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance and be well-versed in industry-standard frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing risk management strategies, evaluating business and IT risks, and developing IT security standards, procedures, and controls to manage these risks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to reduce technology risk, governance, and compliance to policies and external regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks to identify potential threats and develop mitigation plans.
  • Develop and maintain IT security standards, procedures, and controls to ensure effective risk management.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to design and deliver information security posture, legal, regulatory, and scheme security requirements.
  • Support incident management disciplines, including performing and investigating internal and external information security risk and exception assessments.
  • Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders and provide remediation guidance and prepare management reports to track remediation activities.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards preferred
  • Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies
  • Ideally will have a CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM qualification
  • Proven ability to make sound pragmatic decisions and judgments under tight timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to influence and drive change in a collaborative way both internally and externally
