We are seeking an experienced analytics professional to join our fintech team, leveraging advanced statistics to optimize financial infrastructure and processes.

The role will focus on enabling treasury with liquidity management by developing models for cash flow forecasting, performing insights-based analyses for optimization of treasury payments, and creating frameworks for data quality assurance.

Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders in product, analytics, engineering, finance, accounting, and compliance on high-stakes problems, driving key business priorities through deep analytical passion and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with treasury finance, product, compliance, engineering, operations, accounting, and other stakeholders to extract key trends and insights from financial data.
  • Design and implement analytics solutions that benefit the product through a deep understanding of data, customers in finance, and business requirements.
  • Build statistical models to forecast key metrics, automate anomaly detection, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Create effective visualizations to communicate data insights to cross-functional peers and decision-makers.
  • Proactively identify process improvements for cost savings and efficiencies in fintech systems and data flows.
  • Document and train junior analytics professionals to institutionalize learnings of the analytics practice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in math, economics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or other quantitative fields with 4+ years of industry experience as an analytics professional.
  • Advanced SQL expertise and experience with R or Python.
  • Skills in exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, model development, and data storytelling.
  • Experience working on analytics in accounting, finance, fintech, payments, or related areas.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying statistical models, preferably with forecasting and anomaly detection.
  • Strong communication and organization skills, with ability to drive independent execution and multitask.
