Lighting Designer

This role is focused on conceptualizing and executing lighting layouts for smart home projects.

  • Create presentations and develop drawings using CAD software or sketches from plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Coordinate application design with clients, third parties, and internal teams.
  • Calculate luminous output and intensity of lighting systems, create layout plans, work drawings, and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date on new lighting solutions and innovations.

Main performance indicators include fostering strong relationships with architects, delivering flawless designs, adhering to design philosophy, meeting deadlines, and demonstrating excellence in design thinking.

Requirements:
  • Education: Completed university education in lighting design or architecture preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of professional experience in lighting design and/or architecture, preferably in a studio environment.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in Adobe CC (especially InDesign & Photoshop), AutoCAD, Dialux, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of Rhino and Revit is advantageous.
