Overnight Front Desk Operations Manager

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and managing overnight front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service throughout the night shift.
  • Handle reservations, arrange wake-up calls, taxis, and shuttle services to meet guests' needs.
  • Assist VIPS, VVIPS with branded, proactive, and efficient support, following up as necessary to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts and process invoices accurately.
  • Balance cash drawers, process credit card transactions, and verify receipts to maintain financial integrity.
  • Track key financial metrics, such as room occupancy rates and revenues, to inform business decisions.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Prepare end-of-day reports and summary cash balances for hotel management review.
  • Verify the completion of end-of-day tasks by previous shifts to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, like housekeeping and maintenance, to guarantee service delivery excellence.
  • Audit and reconcile the hotel's daily financial accounts, including revenue, charges, and payments, to maintain accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of front desk experience at managerial level, with expertise in financial management.
  • Basic math and accounting skills, with proficiency in MS Office, PMS, and IDS software.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field, with a focus on financial management and customer service.
