Marsh McLennan is seeking a Senior Manager – Learning & Development to join our team in Gurgaon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic training programs that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of learning activities and support programs that emphasize functional objectives and key competencies.
  • Assist with the development of training for Managers and Mentors/Coaches to ensure program understanding and execution.
  • Deliver and facilitate training sessions, managing all planning and logistics.
  • Draw comprehensive L&D dashboard to share learning updates.
  • Prioritize annual initiatives and drive new programs and sessions forward as part of global or regional efforts.
  • Update and/or design learning and development sessions using Instructional Design Methodology on the needs of and feedback from the organization; partners with subject matter experts where required.
  • Develop and maintain core curriculums within each function/rotation group.
  • Identify training and development needs through role reviews, conversation with stakeholders, and regular consultation with managers and Operation COEs.
  • Leverage advanced knowledge of best practices to partner with the communications teams and spearhead functional communication strategies and initiatives for new programs, awareness and change management initiatives.
  • Act as a Learning Specialist for questions regarding learning platforms, training programs, and L&D developments within the function.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and happenings, and joins relevant professional organizations and attends industry events to build a strong network.
  • Should be flexible to travel intra locations and shift timings.

Requirements:

  • Graduation / post-graduation in any stream.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with the last 5 years of knowledge execution on effective learning and development methods.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen.
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and a real desire to achieve results.
