Human Resources Lead

This role involves leading our HR team in Coimbatore, India. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar HR position and possess strong skills in recruiting, talent acquisition, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop, implement, and manage talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans for all levels from various recruitment channels or internal referrals.
  • Candidate Review: Evaluate employment applications and background check reports for candidates in the offer stage.
  • Position Tracking: Regularly update position tracking tools in a timely manner.
  • New Recruitment Channels: Identify new recruitment channels when necessary.
  • Training Needs: Assist with training needs and implementation according to plans in collaboration with functional leaders.
  • Error-Free Payroll: Ensure accurate attendance records for error-free payroll calculation and processing.
  • Exit Procedures: Conduct exit procedures (including exit documents, procedure, exit interviews) for entry-level employees.
  • Performance Discussions: Conduct performance discussions, set clear expectations through quarterly evaluations, goal-setting, peer review, assessment appraisal process, periodical employee development discussions, and regular performance feedback.
  • Conflicts Resolution: Resolve conflicts, manage employees, address employee issues, and grievances.
  • Employee Surveys: Lead employee surveys to maximize participation following global guidelines for the India team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Any graduate with 5-7 years of experience in a similar HR position.
  • Recruiting Skills: Strong recruiting skills: sourcing, screening, interviewing, etc.
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws: Knowledge of local Indian labor laws and policies.
  • Compensation Best Practices: Strong knowledge of compensation best practices: payroll, bonus system, and allowances.

  • Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication skills both verbally and in written form.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Proficiency with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Integrity and Reliability: High integrity and reliability; keen judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Action Orientation: Action orientation, ability to problem-solve and get results.
  • Teamwork Ability: Ability to work within a diverse team as well as independently.
