Our Process & Technology team, based in Noida & Gurugram, India, is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive complex process engineering design.

About the Job

We seek a skilled Senior Engineer to deliver technically complex process engineering design within proposals, studies, projects execution & operations. As part of a study &/or project team, you will work in accordance with design & engineering standards & procedures, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality standards, targets, and customer satisfaction.

About You

To excel in this role, you should have a B. Tech / M. Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputable university and 6 – 9 years of experience in Process Design and Engineering. Proficiency in Process software like ASPEN HYSYS and / or PRO II, HTRI, PIPENET or FLARENET is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive process engineering plans within project requirements.
  • Lead the preparation of process engineering documents and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Collaborate with the Process Lead Engineer to assign and perform design activities.
  • Prepare process equipment and instrument-related documents within project timelines.
  • Review design documents and drawings prepared by the design team.
  • Stay updated with new developments in process softwares, procedures, and implement them in your work.
  • Develop sizing calculations for process equipment and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets.
  • Perform line size calculations, hydraulic calculations, and pump NPSH calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
  • Prepare process specifications, drawings (PFD, P&ID's and process deliverables.
  • Develop process design basis, process flow diagrams, heat and mass balance, P&I diagrams, material selection diagrams, line list, equipment list, process data sheets, instrument data sheet, control philosophy, cause & effect sheets, utilities and chemicals consumption summaries, and simulations and calculations.
