Job Title: Assistant Manager - Business Finance

As a key member of the finance team, this role involves preparing, analyzing and controlling plant profit & loss (P&L), variance reports and cost reduction initiatives. The successful candidate will drive monthly and annual financial closures in alignment with corporate budgeting.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in product costing, plant accounting and management information systems (MIS). Proficiency in SAP (FICO/MM) and Microsoft Excel is essential. Additionally, experience in working in a multi-plant, high-speed manufacturing setup is highly desirable.

Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and leadership skills are required to succeed in this role. A qualification such as CA/CMA with 1-6 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze plant P&L statements
  • Control plant inventory (RM, WIP, FG, spares)
  • Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
  • Own capex, RM and opex budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Implement inventory reduction strategies
  • Drive SAP-based reporting, automation and controls

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of product costing and plant accounting
  • Expertise in SAP (FICO/MM) and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in working in a multi-plant, high-speed manufacturing setup
  • Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and leadership skills
  • Qualification: CA/CMA with 1-6 years of experience
