The role of the Contracts Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete contract-to-invoice lifecycle for global SaaS agreements. This involves ensuring compliance with company policies, revenue recognition standards, service provisioning, and legal requirements.

This position manages the implementation of contracts, leads the invoicing function to guarantee billing accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with client-specific requirements. It also serves as a liaison between finance, sales, legal, and RevOps teams for seamless contract-to-cash execution.

Key responsibilities include managing centralized repositories, maintaining version control, validating billing frequency, payment terms, taxation, and revenue allocation in contracts. Additionally, this role ensures compliance with audit, revenue recognition, and financial reporting standards.

It also includes leading the team responsible for implementing contracts, ensuring contracts comply with finance policies, revenue recognition rules, service provision, and audit requirements. The role also entails reducing billing errors and disputes through process controls and automation, partnering with sales, RevOps, and other teams to resolve invoicing discrepancies quickly.

This position requires a strong understanding of SaaS contracts, invoicing workflows, revenue recognition, and compliance frameworks. It also demands hands-on expertise in Salesforce CRM, CLM systems, and ERP/finance platforms (Oracle, SAP, etc.). Proficiency in UAT/project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Agile) is also necessary.

Key success metrics include contract accuracy & compliance rate, invoice accuracy & on-time delivery rate, reduction in billing disputes and revenue leakage, UAT/project closure success rate, stakeholder satisfaction (sales, legal, finance, project teams), and team productivity and engagement.
